How to Edit a GIF Quickly & Easily

Crop your GIF

If you want to crop your GIF, you can do it with the Crop tool in Movavi. Here is how to do it:

1) Run Movavi and click New Project.

2) Click the File tab, and then select Add Media Files.

3) Select the file you want to edit and then click Open.

4) Click the Crop button on the toolbar.

5) Drag the cropping frame over your GIF to set custom height and width.

6) Click Apply.

7) Click the File tab, and then select Save Movie as a Media File.

8) Check the saved GIF file on your computer.

You can only save the GIF FREE with the Movavi watermark on it. If you want to save the file without the watermark, you need to buy an activation key from the Movavi official website.

Add a filter to your GIF

If you want to add a filter to your GIF, follow the instructions below:

1) Run Movavi and click New Project.

2) Click the File tab, and then select Add Media Files.

3) Select the file you want to edit and then click Open.

4) Select the Filters tab. Then, right-click the filter you want and select Apply to All Clips.

5) Click the File tab, and then select Save Movie as a Media File.

6) Check the saved file on your computer.

Add text to your GIF

You can also add text to your GIF with Movavi. Here is how to do it:

1) Run Movavi and click New Project.

4) Click the Titles tab. Then, right-click the type of caption you want and select Add to Current Position.

5) Double-click the text box to edit the text.

6) Click and drag the edge of the text box to adjust the size of the text. Then, click and drag the central of the box to move it.

7) Click and drag the edges of the Text clip on the Timeline to prolong or shorten the text’s duration.

8) Click the File tab, and then select Save Movie as a Media File.

9) Check the saved file on your computer.

5) Click and drag the edge of the sticker to adjust the size of it. Then, click and drag the central of the sticker to move it.

6) On the Timeline, click and drag the edges of the Sticker clip to prolong or shorten the sticker’s duration.

7) Click the File tab, and then select Save Movie as a Media File.

8) Check the saved file on your computer.

Add a callout to your GIF

If you want to add a callout to your GIF, follow the instructions below:

1) Run Movavi and click New project.

2) Click the File tab, and then select Add Media Files.

3) Select the file you want to edit and then click Open.

4) Click the Callouts tool. Then, right-click the call-out you want and click Add to Current Position.

5) Click and drag the edge of the callout to adjust to sized of it. Then, click and drag the central of the callout to move it.

6) On the timeline, click and drag the edges of the Callouts clip to prolong or shorten the callout’s duration.

7) Click the File tab, and then select Save Movie as a Media File.

8) Check the saved file on your computer.
