Many Sling TV users are recently reporting issues with the service? What happens is they can’t watch Sling TV or their Sling TV app is not working properly.

Try these fixes

The following are a few fixes that have helped many people fix their Sling TV not working issue. You may not have to try them all; just  work your way down the list until you find the one that works for you.

  1. Restart your device
  2. Re-sign in your Sling TV service
  3. Reinstall your Sling TV app
  4. Restart your router/modem

Fix 1: Restart your device

The first thing you should try is to restart your Sling TV service. Just close the device you use to watch Sling TV and restart it, then check to see if this fixes your issue.

If this didn’t work for you, move on to Fix 2, below

Fix 2: Re-sign in your Sling TV service

This is also an effective way to fix issues that stop your Sling TV service from working properly. Just sign out of the service, then sign back in.

Now try the service again and see if it works. If it not, you should try the next fix, below.

Fix 3: Reinstall your Sling TV app

If your Sling TV app is not working properly, try reinstalling the app! This helps you repair the corrupted or missing files for your app.

To do so, uninstall the Sling TV app on your device, then re-install the latest version of the app from the app market (App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, …) on your device or the Sling TV website.

Fix 4: Restart your router/modem

It’s also possible that your Sling TV issue is caused by your home network problems. To repair your home network, you should try restarting your router/modem. To do so:

  1. Turn off the device you use to watch Sling TV.
  2. Turn off your router/modem.
  3. Disconnect the power cable from your router/modem. Then wait for 1 minute.
  4. Connect the power cable back to your router/modem, then turn it on.
  5. Turn on your device.

Now check to see if this fixed your Sling TV issue.
