How to Get a PS Plus 7-Day Free Trial

PlayStation Plus now has three membership plans — Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium where in each membership have three kinds of subscriptions — 1 month, 3 months, and 12 months. The 7-day free trial is only available for PlayStation Plus Extra, or Deluxe/Premium.

Compare to Premium, PlayStation Plus Deluxe is available in markets without cloud streaming at a lower price.
  1. Create a brand new PlayStation Network account.
  2. Log in to your console and go to PlayStation Plus.
  3. Click on the Subscribe button and then you’ll see three membership options: Deluxe/Premium, Extra or Essential.
  4. Select a plan (Extra, or Deluxe/Premium) that offers 7-day trial.
  5. Confirm your choice and add a payment method.

Now you can start your 7-day free trial. If you don’t want to be charged, don’t foeget to cancel your subscription before the end of the trial.

To cancel your subscription:

On your PS5, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Account > Payment and Subscriptions > Subscriptions > PlayStation Plus, then click Cancel Trial.

On your PS4, go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > PlayStation Subscriptions > PlayStation Plus, then click Turn Off Auto-Renew.
