How to Track Locations of iPhone from Anywhere
Track iPhone location via iCloud
Find My iPhone is a service on iCloud.com that allows you to locate not only your own Apple devices but also those of people who share their location with you.
To use the functionality to find out the location of an iPhone device, you can log into iCloud Find My iPhone, by logging into your Apple ID. Once there, you can select from Devices and find out the exact locale of your iPhone. Please note that iCloud’s locating service is only available if you have enabled Location Services and Find My iPhone on your device preliminarily – if you have turned off these services and now you have use for it, then you may have to turn to Method 2, to locate your iPhone.
iCloud Find My iPhone also allows you to keep close or remote eye on your family members’ whereabouts, given that you already have their consent for sharing their locations with you (Enable Family Sharing).
Enable Location Services
To enable Location Services, simply tap Settings > Privacy > Location Services and make sure it’s toggled On.
Enable Find My iPhone
To enable Find My iPhone, simply go to Settings, tap on your profile > Find My > Find My iPhone and make sure the toggle is set On.
Enable Family Sharing
To enable family sharing, navigate to Settings, tap on your profile > Family Sharing > Add Member, then follow the on-screen instructions to add your family members.
