How to Cancel Xbox Game Pass Step-by-Step

- You can’t cancel your subscription if your account has a past-due charge.
- Other past-due subscriptions might prevent your cancellation.
- After using all prepaid time, your subscription will automatically be expired when the recurring billing is off.
How to cancel Xbox Game Pass
You can cancel it either on your computer or on the Xbox console. It has fewer steps on PC, so I suggest you cancel Xbox Game Pass on your computer.
On PC (Recommend)
- Go to Microsoft Account.
- Log in to your Microsoft Account. Make sure you’re signed in to the correct Microsoft account.
- Click Services & subscriptions.
- Select Xbox Game Pass and click Manage.
- Select Cancel. Follow the instructions to finish the cancellation.
Note: If you didn’t see Cancel but see Renew or Turn on recurring billing, that means the recurring billing is off for this subscription and you won’t receive additional charges. - The Xbox Game Pass expiry date will be shown to you.
On Xbox console
- Press the guide button to bring your Xbox dash box.
- Go to the System tab and select Settings.
- Move to Account and choose Subscriptions.
- Find your Xbox Game Pass and select it.
- Select View and manage subscription. This will bring you to Microsoft account settings.
- Click Manage > Cancel.
