Best Chegg alternatives

The famous education-technology company Chegg offers a wide range of services that help students both financially and academically. For a monthly fee, students can use Chegg to buy, rent or sell old textbooks and get professional help (reviewing homework/papers, checking for grammar mistakes, plagiarism or expert answered solutions to any hard problems).

While it may be a little difficult to find another platform that offers the very same resources but cheaper or free alternatives that excel in one specific field do exist.

If you’re planning to switch to another service, here are a number of options to consider:

Check out Bookfinder for textbooks. Starting 1997, Bookfinder has been striving to help readers find any book at the best price. The website itself is very straightforward and intuitive to use: just enter the information you know, the titles, the authors, the editions, the languages, the types – you can even search by ISBN number to limit the books to the exact one you need. The results are returned from cheapest to most expensive ones – listing even the shipping fees needed so you wouldn’t expect any surprising costs when books arrive.

Check out Skooli if you have any academic struggles. Skooli is an online tutoring website that offers instant tutoring to students at any levels and for any subjects. from elementary to middle high school all the way to university, from humanities, science to math and to business. All the tutors are certified, vetted experts from across the country and around the world.

As for the pricing, the service charges $0.82 per minute – there’s no subscriptions or monthly payments required, just pay as you go.

Check out Grammarly if you need help in writing. While writing is a valuable skill to have, not everyone can write well and students often feel a need to have their writing assignments properly checked. Luckily, Grammarly is here to help.
The free version of Grammarly helps you check spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors (and explains why) and the Premium version is capable of doing far more. It helps adjust the tone of your writing, liven up your essay, improve the language fluency and even check for plagiarism.
