GTA Online Beginner’s Guide: How To Make Money Quickly

This May, you can get the Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition for free from the Epic Games store. This edition includes the complete GTA 5 story and GTA Online. If you didn’t miss the chance, congratulations you can enjoy GTA 5 forever!

Making money is an important part of the game, I believe you’ve read tons of posts and YouTubers telling you how to make money, like getting VIP Works or sort of things. However, you need to earn at least GTA $1 million before going to the highway. But how? Don’t worry, this post is here to help. You’ll know how to make your first 1 million dollars step-by-step.

  1. Spin the Lucky Wheel
  2. Daily Objectives
  3. Robbing convenience store
  4. Buy Shark Cards

1. Spin the Lucky Wheel

The Lucky Wheel is a free daily activity. You can spin the wheel once per day and get the prize. This daily activity needs to wait 24 hours. So you’d better do it at first when you’re online.

In some countries you don’t have to access to the wheel because of your country’s laws.

After spinning the wheel, go for visitor chips. Every day you can get a thousand visitor chips, Remember, chips are the currency in Casino, as a player we need to exchange GTA$ instead of purchasing things outright.

2. Daily Objectives

Require: Rank 15
Recommend: Create a second character

Many players ignore the Daily Objectives, but they are one of the easiest ways to earn money quickly. When you unlock at Rank 15, you can find the Daily Objectives in the Interaction Menu.
You can get GTA $30,000 and 5000 RP for completing all 3 daily objectives. Doing these for 7 consecutive days will bring GTA $150,000 and 20,000 RP, 28 consecutive days will give you GTA $750,000 and 50,000 RP.

What’s more, there are one-time bonuses you can get from Daily Objectives.

  • 10th completed objective: GTA $10,000
  • 20th completed objective: GTA $20,000
  • 50th completed objective: GTA $50,000
  • 100th completed objective: GTA $100,000
Note: Daily objectives refresh at 2 a.m. EST, 6 a.m. UTC, 7 a.m. GMT.

Usually the first objective the hardest one, while the other 2 can be done quickly. In total, Daily Objectives won’t cost you much time, as a long run, it could make a big change.

I would recommend you create a second role in GTA Online. It’s because GTA Online’s funding system is linking your funds to your Social Club account, not your game character which means if you have a second character, both characters share the same money. 2 Characters will double your money for completing double daily tasks. If there are activities or events, you can get the reward twice a day.

How to access Daily Objectives

  1. In the GTA Online, evoke the Interaction Menu.
  2. Choose Objectives and you’ll see Daily Objectives.

  3. Finish the 3 daily tasks and you’ll be rewarded.

To evoke the Interaction Menu:

  • On PC: Press the M key
  • On Xbox 360 or Xbox One: Hold the Back button
  • On PS4: Hold the Touchpad button
  • On PS3: Hold Select buton

3. Robbing convenience store

As a beginner, robbing a gas station or a convenience store can let you get $300 to $700 at a time. It’s not efficient compare to other methods, but it’s pretty quick and easy for a beginner to get money.

Here’s how to rob a store:

  1. Find a store with lights and windows, you should be able to walk into the shop.
  2. Pointing at the cashier with your weapon.
  3. Get the money that the cashier gives to you.
  4. Kill the cashier and run. Because you’ll get starts no matter you kill the man or not, but there’s a chance that you’ll be killed by the clerk. So I suggest you kill the NPC for your own safety.
  5. Avoid cops by hiding in the subway entrance or the sewer to eliminate stars.

Tips:

1. Better rob on Sundays because most gas stations keep money from Friday till Sunday.
2. If there’s a second clerk in the store, shoot it for extra money ($300 to $500).
3. If you shoot the glasses behind the clerk, he significantly goes faster.

4. Buy Shark Cards

If you don’t want to spend much time in the beginning and you don’t mind spending some money, using Shark Card is a good option.
